Workers' Compensation Defense Law Firm, Albert & Mackenzie, is seeking a Scheduling Assistant for our Medical Dept. in our Agoura Hills office.
Job Purpose:
Assist attorneys by scheduling or canceling appointments, interpreters, and or travel arrangements.
Responsibilities:
- Setting appointments/interpreters/travel
- Sending appointment notices and mileage request
- Updating and maintaining appointment log
- Answering incoming calls re: medical appointments
- Responding to emails
- Managing mail re: medical appointments
Experience and Skills:
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as proficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe, and Outlook. Must be organized, able to follow directions, flexible, and able to multitask. Candidates should be able to work independently and follow through on required tasks in a fast-paced department, where deadlines are critical. Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Medical Terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
- Appointment Setting: 1 year (Preferred)
