Process Assistant (Operations Supervisor), Reverse Logistics (ReLo)

We’re seeking for an experienced Process Assistant to join the team for the upcoming launch of the Reverse Logistics (ReLo) operation at BWU1, Moorebank. The ReLo team is the specialist team that gives returned products a second life, finding the smartest recovery path for every item to protect both customers and the business. The Process Assistant will support the Area Manager, and will hold responsibilities specific to your process path.

Key job responsibilities - Support and work across departments as required - Support daily management of department duties, including allocating labour, leading meetings, and assigning job duties - Provide coverage for Area Managers - Maintain a safe workplace by following safety standard operating procedures, ensuring the well-being of all personnel and the integrity of Amazon operations - Measure and monitor workflows, track onsite performance, and provide important shift information to front-line management to ensure operational excellence across shifts - Support and train associates to deliver great service and supervise them in their daily tasks - Support the Area Manager with projects to improve processes, cultivate a safe working environment, and increase workforce engagement - Provide policy follow-up and attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline) - Track and report attendance and labour hours - Assist the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying standard operating procedure compliance

- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays - Availability to work 38 hours+/week, and overtime as required - Previous experience leading teams - Experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment - Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members - Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

- Leadership experience directly managing others - Comfortable in lifting up to 16 kilos, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach, all with or without reasonable accommodation - Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement
