Description

Apple is seeking a strategic, visionary, and results-driven Senior Product Marketing Manager to define, develop, and lead comprehensive cross-functional, end-to-end go-to-market (GTM) efforts across K–12 and Higher Education institutions, government, educators, college students, and families. This critical role is responsible for unifying marketing efforts — including high-impact events, campaigns, and strategic go-to-market activations — across the worldwide education organization, ensuring initiatives are well-coordinated, visible, measured, understood, and aligned with broader company goals.

Responsibilities

Lead Globally Aligned GTM Strategy: Lead and champion comprehensive, globally aligned go-to-market strategies and planning processes, ensuring shared visibility, market positioning, routes to market, and media mix are tailored for diverse education audiences, products, and segments.

Cross-Functional Alignment & Briefing: Drive high-impact results and stakeholder alignment across cross-functional teams (PR, Marcom, Product Marketing, Finance, Sales, Developer Relations, Community Engagement Initiative, Legal, and executive leadership) by co-developing and overseeing GTM briefs, priorities, timelines, and internal communications. Team Leadership & Talent Development: Serve as a mentor and leader across the Education team to actively develop talent, guide project execution, model core values, and foster a culture of high performance and mutual accountability.

Digital & Channel Marketing Innovation: Create next-generation digital marketing strategies, including channel optimization, editorial ingenuity, and the evaluation and implementation of automation tools to maximize reach, engagement, and data capture. Audience Insights & Market Strategy: Deepen audience understanding, inform strategic decisions, and identify new market opportunities in close collaboration with market intelligence teams.

Worldwide Experiential & Event Strategy: Design and execute worldwide event strategies, partnering with channel and field teams to ensure local relevance and global consistency.

Budget, Measurement & ROI: Manage and optimize the overall GTM marketing budget, track performance metrics, and leverage insights to demonstrate ROI, inform executive reporting, improve future planning, and share innovative approaches based on education and experiential marketing trends.

Minimum Qualifications

12+ years of experience leading end-to-end go-to-market strategy development and execution across global markets, multiple channels and categories, event execution, or experiential marketing — preferably within the technology sector. Strong ability to work cross-functionally across a diverse set of worldwide teams and functions, driving alignment and shared visibility in highly ambiguous situations while independently identifying creative and innovative solutions. Experience interpreting data and key analytics to define strategy and measure the impact of GTM campaigns and activities. Advanced executive-level presentation, communication, visual storytelling, organizational, and project management skills, with sharp attention to detail. Proven track record of managing complex projects, timelines, and vendor relationships involving executive-level stakeholders, while maintaining high quality, brand consistency, and a relentless focus on the customer experience. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, multiple stakeholders, and varying levels of ambiguity. BS/BA in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Deep curiosity in understanding customers and what drives them. Genuine passion for education and reaching global audiences. Familiarity with Apple’s ecosystem and its use in educational environments around the world. Deep understanding of education audiences and buyer journeys, along with the nuances of K–12 and Higher Education markets, including government. Proficient in developing Keynote presentations for executive communication and storytelling. 8+ years of experience with an MBA or advanced degree or 5+ years with a PhD in Marketing, Business, or Communications.
