Engineering Manager, Vehicle Integration

About the Role

As the Engineering Manager for Vehicle Integration, you will build and lead the team responsible for making customer vehicles a safe, reliable, and integral part of our Mithra OS ecosystem. Mithra is our ARX Software Stack that transforms legacy fleets with AI-driven autonomy and standardized software, ensuring seamless integration and unmatched adaptability for complex missions. You will set the technical vision, define the engineering processes, and mentor the talent that underpins our ability to integrate with any vehicle platform.

This is a critical leadership role for an experienced engineering manager who possesses deep technical credibility in complex vehicle or robotic systems. You will be responsible for your team's execution, their professional growth, and the strategic decisions that enable us to scale our integration capabilities safely and efficiently.

What You'll Lead

• Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class team of engineers responsible for the end-to-end integration of our Mithra OS onto customer vehicles.
• Establish the strategy and processes for technical feasibility studies, ensuring your team makes sound, evidence-based go/no-go decisions.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and verification of all vehicle integration work, spanning mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
• Drive the development of robust, reusable tools, software libraries, and documentation to accelerate future integrations and improve engineering efficiency.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and engineering excellence, ensuring every vehicle integration is robust, serviceable, and mission-ready.
• Manage technical relationships and collaboration with external partners, including vehicle OEMs, suppliers, and specialist contractors.
• Guide your team in executing rigorous test plans, from bench testing to live field trials, ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance.

What You Bring

• A proven track record of leading, managing, and mentoring engineering teams in a robotics, automotive, or complex systems environment.
• Significant technical experience in vehicle systems integration, with a deep understanding of the challenges across software, electrical, and mechanical domains.
• Experience hiring, developing, and retaining engineering talent, with a passion for building high-performing, collaborative teams.
• Exceptional engineering judgment and the ability to make critical decisions on technical strategy, architecture, and risk management.
• The ability to inspire and guide a cross-disciplinary team, fostering a clear sense of purpose and a high standard of execution.
• Strong strategic and communication skills, with experience managing relationships with external partners like OEMs and suppliers.
• A deep, hands-on technical background that provides you with the credibility to guide senior engineers through their toughest challenges.
