Position Summary:
Supports day-to-day Ground Operations warehouse, logistics, and commissary functions by receiving, storing, preparing, loading, and tracking operational supplies. Ensures commissary items, crew linens and blankets, uniforms, and cabin supplies are properly stocked and available to support aircraft and station needs. Maintains accurate inventory records and provides safe, timely, and efficient logistical support under the direction of the Lead and Ground Operations Logistics Management within a 24/7 operation.
Major Job Accountabilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of commissary items, crew linens and blankets, uniforms, beverages, and other supplies; report shortages, damage, and discrepancies.
- Store, organize, and label supplies in designated the warehouse, maintaining clean, orderly, and safe cooler and dry warehouse areas.
- Act as first point of contact for logistical support requests from stations and internal departments.
- Monitor stock levels at key locations, ensuring availability while helping to control costs.
- Build and assemble commissary kits according to aircraft configuration and established service standards.
- Deliver and load commissary kits and beverages onto company aircraft, ensuring correct quantities, placement, and secure stowage.
- Access aircraft using upper-deck ladders and crew stairs to deliver supplies in accordance with established safe handling procedures.
- Deliver and restock dry cabin supplies, including tissues, toilet paper, and paper towels, as scheduled or requested.
- Communicate inventory transactions withdrawals, and transfers, ensuring accurate counts at all times.
- Assist with AMC CAC and Base Access Badge requests, renewals and database updates.
- Coordinate supply shipments (ULD build-up material, shoring, plastic, etc.) for worldwide operations.
- Track and record all logistics activity including receipts, withdrawals, transfers, deliveries, and other inventory activity in Veoci and applicable tracking systems.
- Perform regular physical inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and report unresolved variances to Management.
- Respond to irregular situations impacting inventory availability and aircraft supply needs.
- Monitor stock levels and notify Management of replenishment needs, shortages, and potential supply interruptions.
- Assist with ordering commissary and Ground Operations supplies, subject to established purchasing approvals through Ariba
- Collaborate and communicate with vendors, stations, and internal departments regarding deliveries, shipment status, and supply availability; escalate unresolved concerns.
- Support scheduled aircraft loading by preparing required supplies and communicating delivery delays or shortages promptly.
- Respond to urgent commissary and logistics requests during assigned shifts, escalating issues requiring additional resources or management decisions.
- Collect receipts and supporting documentation for departmental credit card purchases and assist with expense reconciliation.
- Follow departmental SOPs and provide feedback to support updates and improvements to warehouse and logistics processes.
- Follow applicable warehouse, ramp, aircraft access, safety, and security procedures; promptly report hazards or equipment concerns.
- Support warehouse projects, special assignments, and interdepartmental initiatives directed by Ground Operations Logistics Management.
- Work assigned shifts supporting a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Support Ground Operations Leadership at the MIA Gateway with projects as assigned in Cooler and Dry Warehouse as applicable.
- Travel as needed to support Ground Operations logistics activities.
- Monitor ramp activities and performance to deliver safe and timely aircraft commissary handling
- Support special projects and inter-departmental initiatives as assigned by Ground Operations Logistics Management as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 4 years’ experience, with a focus in inventory, warehousing, distribution, or related functions preferred
- 2 years or more of Forklift experience preferred
- Previous airline experience preferred
- Previous cycle counting and inventory reconciling experience preferred
- Attend/pass required trainings for recurrent, refreshment or (re)certification revalidation trainings
- Acquire all identification badges required for the position, control the expiration and renewal
- Must have strong familiarity with MS Excel, Word and Outlook
Special Demands:
- Available to work flexible hours as the operation requires including but not limited to night shift, weekends, holidays and extended hours as needed
- Ability to travel as required supporting operational needs
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Must be able to pass ten year background check and obtain airport security badge
- Frequent: lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling of moderately heavy weight objects (up to 70 pounds); controlling or driving materials handling equipment in a congested warehouse environment. Occasional: driving through city traffic to make pick-ups and deliveries, or conduct field inventories
Skills:
- Must be computer literate
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Must be flexible to adapt to a fast paced work environment
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment

Competitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors. In addition, a range of benefits to include medical, dental and vision insurance, employee assistance program, as well as generous paid time off, and 401K contributions are offered as a part of the total compensation package.
Pay Range
$54,000—$64,000 USD
