Your future team

Atlassian’s machine learning teams tackle product and business challenges across the company. Working with partners across Product, Engineering, Growth, GTM, Finance, and Sales, we build machine learning infrastructure and intelligent product experiences. Our teams include machine learning and software engineers who value collaboration, knowledge sharing, rapid experimentation, and measurable impact. This role offers opportunities to work on areas such as search, recommendation, personalization, Generative AI applications, and large language models.

Responsibilities

• Build and evaluate machine learning models and Generative AI applications
• Use data, experimentation, and feedback to improve model and product quality
• Translate customer and business problems into technical solutions with cross-functional partners
• Contribute across the machine learning lifecycle, from prototyping and evaluation to deployment and monitoring
• Develop agentic workflows that combine LLMs, tools, and relevant product context to solve complex, multi-step problems
