Position Overview
The Program Manager will report to the Vice President, Chief Architect of PDMS (Product Development & Manufacturing Solutions) and support the architecture organization and broader architecture community across PDMS. The role is a trusted advisor to the Chief Architect and will focus on strategy, operational efficiency, and organizational alignment. This includes managing and driving the engagement model for architecture leadership, the Architecture Council and key stakeholders in order to ensure rapid decision making, coordinated execution, and visibility to key initiatives within the team all while incorporating the Autodesk Culture.
This position is hybrid; commutable distance to our San Francisco, Boston, Atlanta, Portland, Denver, Montreal or Toronto offices.
Responsibilities
- Manage the organization’s strategic roadmap by tracking all initiatives and verifying execution and updating dashboards as needed. May confer with leadership in determining key performance indicators, scope and structure of the process
- Create, plan, and facilitate staff meetings to accomplish clear and effective decision making, tracking and reporting on follow-up actions required. May create strategic messaging both written & spoken to provide an overall view across teams to help collaboration across the organization
- Coordinate opportunities for efficiency by conducting research, benchmarking & analytics, propose new systems/processes to streamline as needed, and manage budgets
- Support organizational planning and growth of the organization over time
- Participates with architects to help establish plans and progress teams to finalize the deliverables. Participates in decision-making and influences final outcome. Owns a limited area of responsibility and the decisions for these groups, for example Program Management
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of program management or project management experience
- Can deliver and improve global initiatives
- Able to drive process improvement and operational excellence
- Ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills across levels and geographies
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience in building cross-functional partnerships and delivering results through collaboration
- Managing and executing project plans
- Technical expertise preferred
- Familiarity with tools and technologies (Jira, Confluence, Airtable, Slack, Teams, PowerPoint)

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $124,000 and $221,430. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
