Highlights:

Summary: The Cardiovascular Technician, Registered shall be responsible to work as a team member with other cardiac personnel, physicians, and patients to provide the technical expertise necessary to perform procedures required in the Cardiac areas. This individual must be familiar with all the equipment involved in performing such duties, and ability to operate such equipment efficiently and accurately. The Technician must have knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and sterile techniques. The Technician will be responsible to provide the physicians with reliable data and results at completion of the procedure. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Education / Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Health Sciences preferred.

License / Certification:

Active ARRT or RCIS or RCES required, BLS required, Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) may be required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
• Strong team leadership skills, strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
• Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills.
• Must be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills, proven track record of successful performance.
• Ability to understand complex multifactor situations and bring appropriate solutions.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
