Job Description:
The Respiratory Care Therapist is responsible for managing and providing for age-appropriate patient care, adolescent to geriatrics. This includes the immediate, short-term care needs of patients, as well as planning for long-term needs. The therapist scope of practice is determined by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care, AARC Guidelines, Baptist Health Hardin and patient care services policies, procedures and standards of practice.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program required.
- Current Kentucky Respiratory Care license through the KBRC required.
- Registered Respiratory therapist (RRT) OR Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
