WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 🌟

We're seeking a Head of Lifecycle Marketing to own the entire customer journey from first touch to loyal advocate. You'll design and run the lifecycle engine that turns signups into activated users, free users into paying customers, and customers into long-term fans.

You will report to our VP of Growth Marketing and collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Product, Creative, Engineering, Analytics, and Content to build lifecycle programs that support our GTM motion and drive activation, conversion, retention, and expansion at scale.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 🚀

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle strategy - onboarding, activation, free-to-paid conversion, engagement, retention, churn prevention, win-back, and expansion that is aligned with business objectives and audience segments.
• Build and orchestrate automated programs across email, in-product messaging, push, and chat channels, delivering the right message to the right user at the right moment.
• Design a segmentation and personalization framework based on user behavior, product usage, and audience type.
• Run a rigorous experimentation program: hypothesize, A/B test, measure, iterate. Every campaign should teach us something.
• Partner with Product Marketing and Product on launches, promotions, and feature-adoption campaigns; partner with Analytics to build the measurement infrastructure lifecycle deserves.
• Establish KPIs across the funnel (activation rate, trial conversion, retention curves, LTV, reactivation), report on performance, and translate insights into action.
• Own the lifecycle tech stack and continuously improve tooling and processes.
• Hire, lead, and develop a team of lifecycle marketers, setting a high bar for craft and speed.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies (including AI-driven personalization) to keep our lifecycle engine world-class.

TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE 💥

You’ll need:

• 8+ years in lifecycle, CRM, or marketing automation ideally in product-led growth companies with a proven track record of moving activation, conversion, and retention metrics.
• Deep hands-on experience with a modern marketing automation platform (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Customer.io, HubSpot) and an understanding of deliverability, data flows, and event-based triggering.
• Strong analytical skills: you're fluent in funnel analysis, cohort retention, and experiment design, and comfortable in analytics tools.
• Experience leading and growing a team, with the communication skills to influence stakeholders at every level.
• Excellent project management: you prioritize ruthlessly, manage timelines, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• A creative, customer-obsessed mindset! You sweat the copy and the segmentation logic equally.
• Bonus: familiarity with the creator economy, chat marketing, or freemium business models.
