Currently, we are looking for a Freelance Video Editor to join our product IT company Honeytech, which is developing a platform in the webcomics industry and producing unique content for it.

Honeytech is a dynamic, fast-growing project that has already become #1 in its niche! Imagine Netflix, but for comics — in just a few years, we’ve gathered over 15 million users, challenged giants from South Korea, and proven that it’s possible to build a world-class product from Ukraine.

As a Freelance Video Editor, your challenges will include:

• Editing episodes of animated series based on the producer’s brief.
• Working with lip-sync and voice-over synchronization.
• Compositing scenes and working with layers and masks.
• Managing the review process through Frame.io and implementing feedback.
• Performing color correction and final audio mixing for episodes.
• Preparing subtitles and caption styles according to the studio style guide.
• Following the studio pipeline: versioning, naming conventions, and folder structure.
• Documenting project processes and statuses in Notion.
• Communicating with producers regarding deadlines, task statuses, and maintaining the production schedule.

We are looking for a specialist who:

• Has 2+ years of experience as a Video Editor.
• Is confident with Adobe Premiere Pro and has a solid understanding of Adobe After Effects (compositing, motion graphics).
• Understands editing dynamics, rhythm, and pacing.
• Has experience with color correction and basic grading.
• Has experience working with audio and lip-syncing.
• Has experience with subtitles and caption styles.
• Understands compositing principles (layers, masks, tracking).
• Has Intermediate or higher English proficiency.

Will be a plus:

• Practical experience with Mister Horse Premiere Composer.
• Experience with review platforms such as Frame.io or similar tools.
• Experience editing 2D animated series or AI-generated animation.
• Experience working in teams with pipeline-based production workflows.
• Experience with anime/manhwa / webtoon visual styles.
• Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve.
