Student Researcher - (Seed Model - LLM) - 2027 Start

About the team The Seed LLM team is dedicated to advancing the next generation of LLMs and solving fundamental challenges in LLM development. Our areas of focus include model pretraining, posttraining, inference, memory capabilities, learning, interpretability and other related directions. We dive deep into the latest technologies and create comprehensive solutions from concept to completion. In our endeavor to adopt LLMs in real-life scenarios, we explore methods to enhance applications through technological innovation.

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals. Responsibilities - Support research and development of foundation models and systems. - Experiment with model improvements and evaluation methods. - Implement algorithms, models, or system components. - Collaborate with team members on research and engineering tasks.

Minimum Qualifications: - Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. - Strong coding skills and understanding of data structures and algorithms, proficient in Python or C/C++. - Experience with machine learning or related areas through coursework, projects, or internships.

Preferred Qualifications: - Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. - Demonstrated research track record with publications in conferences related to natural language processing, machine learning, or large language models. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
