Software Engineer II

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science/IT/Mechanical/Civil/Structural engineering
• MCA

WORK EXPERIENCE (state minimum number of years required and field)

• Minimum 3-7 years of experience in C/C++/Fortran programming
• Experience in CAD/CAE graphical software development
• Experience with MVC based GUI development such as QT
• Experience of software development and debugging on Windows & Linux platforms.
• Experience of working in graphics (OpenGL, VTK)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Strong in programming concepts in C++
• Exposure to CAD/CAE software tools and graphics knowledge (OpenGL, VTK)
• Good in GUI programming concepts such as QT
• Knows a scripting language - Python or Perl
• Good Aptitude
• Good Academics

Responsibilities

• Develops moderately complex software in C, C++, Qt in CAE domain following set coding standards and in accordance with applicable software development methodology and release processes
• Utilizes software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process
• Works independently to creates and executes designs for new functionality as part of a software project
• Fixing issues/defects in the software
• Providing technical information for writing user documents, help and guides
