A Brief Overview
The Psychologist will provide consultation, assessment, and intervention services for patients diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). Services will be delivered within an interdisciplinary clinic setting and will include conducting initial evaluations, providing psychoeducation, developing and coordinating treatment plans with the interdisciplinary team, and conducting follow-up visits with returning patients.
Intervention efforts will focus primarily on CBT-based approaches aimed at improving coping skills, enhancing physical functioning, and supporting treatment adherence. The Psychologist will also provide consultation to the FND team, other medical teams, outpatient behavioral health providers, and school-based partners to facilitate ongoing outpatient care for patients treated through the FND Program.
Services will be provided within Pennsylvania through a combination of in-person and telehealth modalities. The Psychologist will also have opportunities to participate in psychology teaching and training activities.
The Psychologist provides psychological services to patients and families, develops and nurtures clinical services, participates in and leads training activities within the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (DCAPBS) and Hospital; participates in Department and Hospital committees and initiatives. They may contribute actively to program development and QI activities, serve as an educator, role model and mentor, and participate in local, regional and national professional activities. They may engage in clinical research as appropriate for their role. In some settings, the psychologist may have a matrixed reporting relationship to a physician leader outside the Department.

SALARY RANGE:
$36,279.00 - $205,640.00 Annually
Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
