About the Job
A role within the outpatient AIC/General Neurodevelopmental Program includes both assessment and therapeutic interventions to individuals ages 6-25 years old with neurodevelopmental disorders and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. This position includes providing diagnostic evaluations to rule out Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders. It is necessary for the candidate to have experience administering, scoring, and interpreting the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS) in addition to cognitive assessment measures. Individual and group treatment interventions are provided to autistic children/adolescents/young adults with other neurodevelopmental disorders as well as co-occurring diagnoses of anxiety, depression, and attention concerns. The individual in this role will also have the opportunity to collaborate with providers across disciplines including psychiatry, social work, and BCBA.
The Psychologist provides psychological services to patients and families, develops and nurtures clinical services, participates in and leads training activities within the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (DCAPBS) and Hospital; participates in Department and Hospital committees and initiatives. They may contribute actively to program development and QI activities, serve as an educator, role model and mentor, and participate in local, regional and national professional activities. They may engage in clinical research as appropriate for their role. In some settings, the psychologist may have a matrixed reporting relationship to a physician leader outside the Department.

SALARY RANGE:
$36,279.00 - $205,640.00 Annually
Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
