This is an opportunity to apply deep Java and Spring Boot expertise to meaningful, complex problems in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

  • Write comprehensive unit, integration, and performance tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure reliability and production-readiness of delivered code.
  • Conduct peer code reviews across the team's codebase, providing clear and constructive technical feedback that improves code quality.
  • Analyze existing applications to identify vulnerabilities, security gaps, and performance bottlenecks, then implement targeted remediation and optimizations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate clearly across technical teams and engage effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience designing and deploying cloud-ready applications on large-scale container platform clusters, including the build-out of automated deployment pipelines.
  • Familiarity with modern engineering practices such as Behavior Driven Development, Extreme Programming, and DevOps workflows.
  • Background in financial services application development, with an understanding of the compliance and risk considerations relevant to enterprise-grade systems.
  • Experience managing or contributing to end-to-end project delivery, including scoping, planning, and stakeholder coordination.
