As a Cardiovascular Technician, your responsibilities will include performing both non-invasive and invasive procedures, such as echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, cardiovascular catheterization, stent insertion, balloon angioplasty and implanting pacemakers. You will also perform scrubbing and monitoring duties during procedures as well as pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure care and patient disposition in collaboration with the nursing and medical caregivers. In this role, you will also ensure patients feel informed, relaxed and safe during each appointment. A caregiver in this position works 4 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, from 7:00AM – 5:30PM. Taking call is required, including weekends and holidays. Availability is required for disaster response, as needed.
