As a Patient Access Representative in the Emergency Department, your responsibility is to deliver an exceptional experience to patients, families and visitors, from the moment they enter to the time they return home. In this role, you will assist patients with everything from registration, insurance eligibility and collecting co-payments to self-screening and scheduling services. This position provides a strong foundation to advance in your career within various departments at the Cleveland Clinic.
A caregiver in this position works evenings from 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements.
*Please note that if you are selected, you will need to attend a 2-week EPIC training starting on your first day. The training is Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on-site at Stow Health and Wellness Center. You will need to attend all days of this training. Once the training is complete, you will then start work on your assigned schedule/shift. To be considered for this role, you will need to acknowledge that you are able to attend the full duration of the training.*
