What awaits you?

As a Java Developer, you will support the development, enhancement, and operation of ContiTrade's Fleet Solutions, a business-critical platform serving fleet customers and partner networks across EMEA. Working closely with developers, solution architects, product owners, and business stakeholders, you will contribute to the design and implementation of reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based solutions
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Support application integrations with internal and external systems
• Collaborate with team members to design scalable and maintainable software architectures
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
• Participate in testing, code reviews, and quality assurance activities
• Support application operations, upgrades, and continuous improvements
• Contribute to incident, change, and service management processes

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Experience in Java Web Development incl. Spring Framework
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing
• Good understanding of relational databases and RESTful Web Services

Collaboration & Ways of Working

• Good English communication skills
• Experience working in cross-functional and international teams
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and related tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, BMC, or similar ticketing systems

AI-Enabled Development

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
• Understanding of AI-supported software engineering practices, including code generation, debugging, testing, and documentation
• Ability to leverage AI effectively while maintaining high standards for quality, security, and maintainability
