Material Handler I

Essential Functions: • Maintain accurate inventory control by following established work instructions and processes. • Move materials to and from receiving, production areas and shipping by hand, using sorting bins and carts, or other equipment • Unpack, receive, and stock materials into storeroom location(s) • Read work orders to determine material and equipment needs for production cell work • Issue critical materials to production cells • Complete the cycle count process for Value Stream; Escalate variances in counts, as needed • Respond to unplanned issues with internal customers in a timely manner • Pack and ship materials in accordance with contract requirements • Aid and/or Backfill coworkers, as needed to complete daily tasks • Ensure compliance with export compliance rules • Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
