Job Description:

Pay: $23.00 - $25 per hour

Job description:

Wissota currently operates under three different shifts; however, this position is for the 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00PM) or 3rd Shift. (3rd shift schedule is Sunday Night 7:00pm -7:00am, Monday Night thru Wednesday 11:00pm - 7:00am. Work 36 hrs, get paid for 40 hrs

Job Responsibilities:

• Set Up and operate ID Grinding Machine.
• Operate ring inspections, deburr all parts and perform troubleshooting.
• Complete in-process inspections of parts by identifying malfunctions or out-of-tolerance grinding; adjusts controls of machine to correct errors.
• Inspect and measure completed production units to identify defects caused by machine setup.
• Perform equipment maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a safe and orderly production area with the ability to meet production standards.
• Understand decimals and basic Mathematics.
• Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Skills:

• At least one year experience in manufacturing is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mulit-task.
• Machining skills acquired though work experience and training through Wissota Tool
• Improvement mindset
• Problem solving/ critical thinking abilities
• Good Oral and Written communication skills
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift
• Consistently reliable attendance

Requirements:

• High School diploma required.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to understand decimals in sizing

Highly Preferred:

• Physical ability to operate and repair machines.
• Prolonged periods (up to 4 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and stretching, between breaks.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at times.
