Project Management Officer

Job Title: Project Management Officer (PMO) Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We are partnering with a leading fintech company looking to hire an experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) to join their growing team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

- Assist Project Manager and SMEs in tracking project progress and status

- Coordinate with stakeholders and align team members toward project goals

- Prepare project reports on status, issues, risks, and budget

- Organize meetings, take minutes, and maintain project documentation

- Support improvements to PMO processes, tools, and workflows

- Handle ad hoc tasks and assignments as needed

Requirements

- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field

- 5+ years experience in Project/Program Management Office in IT projects

- Knowledge of project management concepts, Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile Scrum, etc.) is a plus

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities

- Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn

- While strong English language proficiency is essential, the ability to converse in Mandarin is desirable for liaising with Chinese-speaking clients.
