The Role

We are looking for an individual to join as a Founding Engineer, with experience in developing trading platforms/exchanges, who will help architect, build and maintain our systems. You will be trusted with making important design decisions with substantial autonomy, working directly with the founders to deliver a best-in-class trading experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Proposing and implementing key design choices, including but not limited to:

• Enhancing matching + risk engines for existing product suite
• Internal accounting and risk management
• Optimistic proof generation for batch settlement of trades
• New features and products to complement the suite
• Rigorously reviewing and improving code that has been produced and will be produced

Who you are:

• 6+ years experience in a highly technical trading infrastructure / engineering role (preference for someone who’s actually built a central exchange before)
• Experienced in Rust, bonus if experienced in Typescript
• Deep understanding of low-level architecture (understanding of hardware optimization would be a bonus)
• Strong expertise in low latency, high throughput distributed systems
• You value strong opinions loosely held
