HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

- Keep our fleet running reliably: Deploy, configure and update Linux/Jetson and Windows-based systems, working with Docker, Docker Compose and infrastructure tooling such as Terraform

- Deliver frequent releases: Carry out software and configuration updates across our edge devices, gradually taking on releases for our cloud Recognition Service

- Investigate production issues: Be the first engineering escalation point for Customer Support. Use SSH, logs, monitoring and system state to diagnose problems, resolve common issues and bring clear findings to senior engineers when you need their help

- Turn recurring work into lasting improvements: Automate repetitive tasks and improve monitoring, runbooks and deployment processes so that operational effort grows more slowly than the fleet

- Connect people and systems: Work with Engineering, Customer Support and Sales, communicating technical findings clearly and helping colleagues move issues toward resolution

- Grow into operational ownership: Start with close supervision, build your understanding of the architecture and progressively take on more independent decisions

- On-call: Participate in an engineering on-call arrangement as we develop our formal processes

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

- Relevant professional experience: You bring at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in systems administration, DevOps, production operations or a similar engineering role, including deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting production systems Practical Linux and systems knowledge: You’re comfortable working in Linux environments and understand how operating systems, services and have strong IP networking fundamentals

- Hands-on Docker experience: You understand images, containers, volumes, networking, logs and configuration, and can work with containerized applications

- Infrastructure and deployment fundamentals: You understand repeatable deployments and have used Terraform, Ansible or similar infrastructure automation tooling

- University degree: You hold a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field - A degree from a leading international university is a strong advantage

- A systematic approach to troubleshooting: You gather evidence, test hypotheses and narrow down unfamiliar problems - you want to understand why something failed, rather than just put the fire out

- Ownership and sound judgment: You follow problems through, take care with production changes and know when to involve others. You take pride in reliable operations and look for ways to improve repetitive work

- Curiosity and a collaborative mindset: You learn proactively, welcome feedback and enjoy helping both technical and non-technical colleagues
