2027 Core Fluid Analysis Intern Overview This is a support role to assist Ebara Elliott Energy (EEE) professionals in our U.S. global headquarters location in Jeannette, PA. Students will receive “hands-on" experience in the Core Fluid Analysis department in the rotating equipment industry.
At EEE, we design, build, refurbish and re-engineer products used by some of the largest companies in the world. EEE manufactures steam turbines, centrifugal and axial compressors, cryogenic pumps and expanders, power recovery expanders and gas expanders for use in energy markets worldwide.
All internships will consist of the following elements:
- Individual projects to own and complete for real world hands-on experience;
- Team project and activities designed to demonstrate cooperation;
- Exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities of EEE leadership including participation in company and customer meetings and job shadowing.
The Core Fluid Analysis Intern will lead the following projects:
- Create automated workflows and data management tools to streamline repetitive technical tasks and geometric analysis across multiple product lines.
- Standardize testing and geometric data evaluation routines to significantly reduce processing turnarounds and speed up engineering decision-making.
- Centralize and structure technical datasets to drive consistent geometric modeling and analysis practices across all core product categories.
Preferred candidate: Major in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering completing minimum of junior year of a Bachelor’s Degree. Full time students pursuing an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Master’s Degree are encouraged to apply. Secondary studies in Mathematics (minor/double major) are beneficial, though not required.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
This internship will be based at the EEE headquarters in Jeannette, PA. Candidates must be able to commute to our Jeannette, PA headquarters Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. for twelve weeks.
