Senior Electronics Engineer

Goal of function: Responsible for electronics design of dialysis machines. Job Responsibilities 1) Main tasks: • Design and develop electronics parts (e.g. PCBA and cable, etc.) for HD Machine products • Perform in the whole development process including design specifications, design evaluation, design reviews, test method design, inspection methods, design transfer and OEM co-ordination. • Provide/select technical solution for product design; Make electronics design based on system requirements and relevant standards (e.g. IEC-60601) independently, including schematics design, layout design, bills of materials, testing, manufacturing processes, debugging and improvement, • Leverage new components and new technology concept in design. • Design and develop jigs and fixtures per testing and manufacturing requirements • Plan and perform relevant engineering test required for products and instrumentation, based on internal testing requirements and standards, • Create professional design document according to the Company design control process • Support product risk management. • Maintain awareness of current technological developments and accepted industry standards • Update the electronics development environment(tools and devices) in China design center • Take part in the selection and management of electronics supplier, may also need to manage out-sourcing engineers. • Communicate with other function teams, such as product center, Headquarter engineering team, purchasing, production, other PEC engineering team etc. 2) Secondary tasks: • Regular status report to line manager • Communicating with other function teams, such as product centre, Headquarter engineering team, purchasing, production, other PEC engineering team etc. • Communicating with test house in China and in headquarter 3) Miscellaneous tasks: • Other activities as required Qualifications, experience, know-how and skills critical for success* 1) Required training and education: • Minimum Bachelor Degree in electronics engineering or related degree 2) Required professional experience (in years): • 4 or more years of experience in electronics design 3) Important personal qualities: • Spirit of innovation and team work • Willing to support • Willing to take positive initiatives 4) Other specialized knowledge: a) Technical knowledge • Be familiar with programming in embedded C/C++ • Experience with EDA systems (e.g. PULSONIX, ORCADI Altium Designer) • Experience with digital and analog signal processing • Experience with Human Machine Interfaces (resistive/capacitive touch systems) in medical systems • Experience with EMS provider (Jabil, Plexus, etc.) b) Languages • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese • Excellent communication skills c IT skills • Familiar with standard IT office tools d) Product knowledge • Understanding of HD Machine 5) Special personal requirements: • Be comfortable working in a changing environment which requires flexibility and involves risk • Be comfortable working under pressure
