Job Description:
A Media Buyer plays a key role in driving campaign execution, leveraging analytical rigor and market research to deliver recommendations that meet client objectives. With a strong foundation in media channels, especially digital, and proficiency in media research tools, the Buyer stewards the execution process, manages timelines, and collaborates with cross-functional teams. This role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and a passion for learning, with opportunities to support new business initiatives. The Media Buyer also mentors junior team members and ensures seamless campaign delivery.
A Day in the Life:
- Develop buying strategies, assists in drafting documents, and ensures quality assurance throughout campaigns, while working with teams to analyze performance and optimize media plans.
- Build credibility with clients, supports day-to-day interactions, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve performance, resolve issues, and drive results.
- Support development of media plans and buy strategies, assesses problems systematically, and stays up-to-date on industry trends and opportunities.
- Train and guides junior team members, nurtures a positive team environment, and develops management skills while overseeing projects and ensuring timely delivery.
- Manage multiple deliverables, prioritizes tasks, and ensures projects are completed on time and within budget, while contributing to accurate and timely performance management documents.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with relevant coursework or experience in media or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience in media or a related field, with hands-on experience in media applications like Prisma.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams) and media applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively and train/manage junior team members.
- Proactive and solution-focused, with ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and take ownership of responsibilities.



$66,500 - $80,000
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
