What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like as an Advisory Associate
Each day brings something new, making this a great fit if you value variety and problem solving.
- Work with seniors and managers on a variety of client engagements across multiple industries
- Travel to client sites as an active contributor on engagement teams
- Communicate with engagement team members and clients to keep projects moving smoothly
- Support ad hoc projects as department needs arise
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients across the firm
- Review feedback with seniors and managers to continuously improve your work
- Network with FD team members at firm social events
- Develop your career path with your performance manager and seek ongoing guidance
What Skills Do You Need?
While we teach you nearly everything you need to know, there are a few requirements you must meet:
- Positive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Growth mindset and eagerness to learn
- Openness to giving and receiving feedback
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or MIS
- Graduate degree in Accounting or MIS preferred
- Eligibility to sit for applicable certification exams such as the CPA, CISA, or CIA
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites as needed
