About Us - Rehabilitation Unit

• Freeman Rehabilitation Services offers inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy in multiple locations
• Occupational therapists work with patients to improve their ability to perform tasks in living and working environments
• Occupational therapists use their expertise and knowledge to help with both recovery and adaptation
• Patients receive occupational therapy in a number of settings including acute care, home healthcare, pediatrics and work performance rehabilitation

What You’ll Do Under The Direction Of A Professional RN, Participates In The Systematic And Continual Assessment Of The Physical, Emotional, Clinical, And Psychosocial Needs Of Assigned Patients And Families; The Planning And Implementation Of Appropriate Interventions; And The Evaluation Of Effectiveness And Adjustment Of A Plan As Indicated In A Timely Manner In The Provision Of Safe And Effective Care.

Requirements Current Missouri Practical Nurse license or current Practical Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse's state of residence.

Continuing Education:

Aha Bls For Healthcare Providers Number Of Days: 60

RN Competency Day Annually By Transcript Due Date.
