Course: Finding Success as an Assembly Test Technician

This course prepares students for semiconductor assembly test technician roles, covering career readiness, an overview of the industry and trends, and Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) fundamentals such as electrostatic discharge (ESD) and moisture sensitivity levels (MSL). Students also develop foundational skills in business and financial literacy, project management, and the use of Microsoft Office tools to strengthen the technical and organizational skills needed for effective project planning and execution in their roles as assembly test technicians.

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

Qualifications:

Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field or a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Candidates with exceptional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the stated requirements, as determined by the Assistant Dean.
