Compensation
$22–$24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Regular Schedule:
- 4 weekdays: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
- 1 weekend day: 11:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Rotating days off
Training Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 8-hour shifts scheduled between 9:00 AM and 7:30 PM
The position requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Important: A current California Pharmacy Technician License is legally required for this position.
Are you a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment? Join our closed-door pharmacy, where your work directly helps ensure patients receive their medications accurately and on time.
We’re looking for a dependable, organized Pharmacy Technician who takes pride in accuracy, customer service, and getting the job done right.
What You’ll Do
- Triage incoming paperless communications, including faxed prescriptions, eScripts, and other orders.
- Accurately enter new and refill prescriptions into Framework.
- Answer phone calls and communicate professionally with customers, healthcare providers, and doctors’ offices.
- Follow up on prescription and refill requests as needed.
- Verify prescription information and dosages.
- Maintain accurate notes, documentation, and cycle-fill information.
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting pharmacy and delivery deadlines.
- Identify discrepancies and take initiative to resolve issues.
- Learn and utilize pharmacy systems, including document imaging and pharmacy operating systems.
- Assist with other pharmacy operations as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Current California Pharmacy Technician License — REQUIRED BY LAW.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Long-term care (LTC) pharmacy experience is strongly encouraged and a plus.
- Framework experience is a plus.
- 2+ years of related pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
- A commitment to accuracy, quality, and excellent service.
