Job Description:

This position is located in the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) -

Watershed Protection Branch - NonPoint Source Program - Municipal Stormwater

Unit. The incumbent in this position serves as an environmental compliance

specialist focusing on municipal stormwater. Job Duties include performing annual report reviews, updating permits upon reissuance and providing compliance

assistance to customers regarding Federal and State regulations for stormwater

quality. The incumbent in this position will use their expertise to implement EPD's

mission to protect Georgia's water resources and restore Georgia's environmen

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with water quality modeling

Experience with principles of stormwater

Knowledge of Georgia's NPDES Municipal Stormwater Permits

Knowledge of stream identification methods and watersheds

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, geology, engineering, or other closely related field from an accredited college or university.
