The Supply Chain Strategy Consultant, Resilience & MAKE Center of Excellence (COE) serves as an internal consultant, strategist, and transformation leader for HP's Supply Chain Transformation & Resilience (SCTR) organization and MAKE COE. This role is responsible for identifying, shaping, and solving the company's most complex supply chain challenges spanning manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, resilience, geopolitics, trade, network design, and digital transformation.

Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, this individual provides structured problem-solving leadership across Enterprise Operations, helping business leaders rapidly assess issues, define opportunities, develop recommendations, and drive implementation.

This position requires a unique combination of supply chain expertise, management consulting capabilities, executive communication, analytical rigor, and program leadership. The successful candidate will thrive in ambiguity, rapidly triage emerging business challenges, and lead cross-functional teams through high-impact transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Consulting & Problem Solving

  • Serve as an internal consultant to supply chain and business leaders across Personal Systems, Print, and Enterprise Operations.
  • Intake, assess, and triage complex strategic and operational challenges requiring cross-functional leadership.
  • Structure ambiguous problems into actionable workplans, hypotheses, analyses, and executive recommendations.
  • Facilitate fact-based decision making through scenario planning, tradeoff analyses, and business case development.
  • Lead executive-level special projects and rapid-response initiatives related to emerging risks, opportunities, and disruptions.

Supply Chain & Resilience Strategy

  • Define and advance HP's long-term supply chain resilience and network optimization strategies.
  • Lead assessments related to geographic diversification, manufacturing footprint design, partner ecosystem strategy, tariffs, market access, and geopolitical risk.
  • Conduct end-to-end supply chain studies across sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and customer fulfillment.
  • Develop strategic recommendations balancing customer experience, cost, working capital, resilience, and sustainability objectives.
  • Support development of HP's future-state manufacturing and supply chain network roadmap.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, consulting, strategy, or transformation leadership.
  • Experience at a top-tier consulting firm, internal strategy organization, or equivalent strategic leadership role.
  • Deep expertise across end-to-end supply chain functions including sourcing, manufacturing, planning, logistics, and resilience.
  • Strong understanding of network design, manufacturing strategy, trade policy, tariff impacts, and geopolitical risk.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
  • Advanced analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills.
  • Experience influencing senior leaders and driving alignment across large matrixed organizations.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent strategic consulting experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this role is $121,950.00 - 179,900.00 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
