This opportunity is well suited to a personable, professional, and goal-oriented leader who enjoys supporting teams and leading by example.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide daily leadership and operational support for the Virtual Legal Support team, remaining available throughout assigned shifts and providing occasional weekend coverage when needed.
  • Lead by example by maintaining a hands-on approach to team support, service delivery, communication, and problem resolution.
  • Manage workflow by tracking tasks, monitoring workloads, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring priorities and deadlines are effectively addressed.
  • Evaluate workload demands across different virtual support services and recommend resource allocations to ensure efficient coverage and timely completion of work.
  • Partner with upper management to identify operational challenges and implement process improvements that strengthen efficiency, service quality, and team performance.
  • Support the ongoing development and growth of virtual legal support services across a geographically distributed organization.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while managing a high volume of communications, requests, and competing priorities.
  • Promote a professional, collaborative, and goal-oriented team environment that adapts effectively to changing business needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members while helping maintain consistent service standards across multiple locations and time zones.
  • 2–5 years of relevant leadership experience, preferably within a large, multi-location defense litigation law firm.
  • Previous law firm experience is required, with mid-size to large law firm experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, high-volume professional environment.
  • Strong organizational and workflow management skills, including the ability to identify bottlenecks and prioritize resources effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling multiple tasks and high volumes of communication.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a personable, professional approach to working with attorneys, staff, leadership, and team members.
  • Goal-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable managing shifting priorities and time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Willingness to take a hands-on approach and lead by example.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fully remote, geographically distributed team and maintain availability during assigned evening hours.
  • Annual salary range of $65,000–$78,000, with the final offer based on relevant skills, training, experience, and position location.
  • Fully remote work model.
  • Full-time, exempt position.
  • Evening work schedule designed around U.S. time zones: 3 PM–midnight EST, 2 PM–11 PM CST, 1 PM–10 PM MST, or noon–9 PM PST.
  • Opportunity to join a growing national administrative leadership team.
  • Exposure to a broad, multi-location legal support environment.
