This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a BDC Sales Lead based in the United States.

This senior leadership role oversees performance and execution across a remote automotive Sales BDC division. You will lead Sales Team Coordinators, strengthen coaching consistency, and help frontline teams achieve production and show goals. The role combines people leadership, operational oversight, CRM accountability, and performance management in a fast-paced environment. You will monitor key indicators such as appointment setting, dealership show rates, speed-to-lead, call quality, and task compliance. You will also support escalations, process improvements, campaign strategies, and day-to-day production when needed. Success requires an experienced automotive BDC leader who can translate performance data into effective coaching and operational action. This is an active, hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys developing leaders while maintaining strong accountability across distributed teams.

Accountabilities

  • Oversee daily performance, execution, and operational consistency across the Sales BDC division.
  • Lead, coach, and support Sales Team Coordinators through structured weekly one-on-ones and ongoing performance guidance.
  • Review coaching activity and ensure consistent leadership development across Sales pods.
  • Monitor appointment-setting results, verified dealership show performance, speed-to-lead, call quality, and other division-wide KPIs.
  • Maintain strong CRM accountability by monitoring activity, overdue tasks, unassigned leads, and lead follow-up across Sales teams.
  • Identify performance gaps and partner with Team Coordinators to address BDR performance concerns and operational challenges.
  • Handle higher-level dealership questions, concerns, and escalations professionally and efficiently.
  • Support campaign strategy, rebuttals, SMS and email workflows, and process improvements that strengthen sales performance.
  • Ensure Sales BDC processes and standards are executed consistently across all teams.
  • Participate in live calls, escalations, and production support when additional operational assistance is required.
  • Identify operational gaps and proactively implement improvements to increase efficiency and results.
  • Partner with the BDC Floor Manager and Head of BDC Operations on staffing, performance management, and division priorities.
  • Provide leadership with clear visibility into Sales division performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Previous experience in an automotive BDC or dealership environment is required.
  • Relevant backgrounds may include BDC Manager, BDC Team Lead, Automotive Sales BDC Leader, Internet Sales Manager, Senior BDR, BDC Trainer or Supervisor, or Automotive Contact Center Leader.
  • Strong understanding of automotive Sales BDC operations, including lead follow-up, appointment setting, confirmations, and dealership customer engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and/or frontline supervisors, with a strong interest in coaching and developing other leaders.
  • Strong knowledge of dealership CRM processes and experience with platforms such as Elead or VinSolutions.
  • Ability to use KPIs and performance data to identify trends, guide coaching, and improve team results.
  • Experience managing escalations and communicating confidently with dealership partners, employees, and senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent follow-through across multiple teams and priorities.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a remote, fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
