This is a senior product leadership opportunity focused on shaping the long-term direction of a global payments platform. You will define product strategy across multiple pillars while leading a team of Product Managers and owning the business performance of the product area. The role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, commercial strategy, and payments infrastructure, with significant influence over platform scalability and innovation. You will transform complex payment challenges into scalable solutions supporting enterprise merchants and high transaction volumes. Working closely with engineering, sales, partnerships, and customer success, you will translate market needs into differentiated product capabilities. This is an opportunity to help build the next generation of payment orchestration, financial automation, and AI-enabled payment intelligence within a fast-moving, international environment.
Accountabilities:
- Define and lead a multi-year product vision and strategy for the payments ecosystem, identifying opportunities that support growth, revenue objectives, market expansion, and evolving customer needs.
- Establish strategic direction across multiple product pillars, ensuring initiatives remain aligned with long-term business priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Lead, develop, and grow a team of Product Managers responsible for key product areas, including team structure, hiring plans, leadership development, career progression, and performance expectations.
- Establish strong product management standards, operating processes, and a culture centered on ownership, accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Drive the evolution of the payments orchestration platform and capabilities layer, ensuring it supports payment connectivity, orchestration, reconciliation, financial operations, subscriptions, recurring payments, disputes, and chargebacks.
- Ensure product architecture and capabilities can support enterprise-scale merchants, marketplaces, and high transaction volumes while maintaining scalability and reliability.
- Partner closely with Engineering leadership to shape scalable technical architecture and translate complex infrastructure challenges into effective product solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, and other business functions to translate market requirements and customer needs into product strategy and priorities.
- Lead large, cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple product areas, remove organizational blockers, and establish alignment across teams.
- Own the overall business performance of the payments product area, defining KPIs and success metrics tied to growth, merchant adoption, platform performance, and customer value.
- Balance customer needs, technical scalability, commercial objectives, and operational considerations when making product decisions.
- Monitor emerging trends across payments and fintech and identify opportunities in payment orchestration, approval optimization, financial automation, and AI-driven payment intelligence.
- Drive product innovation and help position the platform as a scalable solution for enterprise payments infrastructure.
- 10+ years of professional experience in Product Management, with significant experience leading multiple product teams or managing Product Managers.
- Strong background in payments, fintech, financial infrastructure, or closely related technology platforms.
- Deep understanding of payment ecosystems, including payment orchestration, PSP and acquirer integrations, payment methods and digital wallets, disputes and chargebacks, and subscription or recurring payments.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling API-driven platforms and complex technology products.
- Strong track record of partnering with engineering teams on sophisticated systems, platform architecture, and large-scale technical initiatives.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple product and business teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to establish and communicate long-term product direction.
- Demonstrated leadership and people-management capabilities, including developing product leaders and building effective teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and collaboration skills.
- Strong business orientation with the ability to connect product strategy, customer value, growth, and measurable business outcomes.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly innovative startup environment.
- Advanced or native-level English proficiency.
- Experience with emerging technologies or AI-driven solutions in payments or product development is a plus.
- Fully remote work with the flexibility to work from anywhere.
- Vacation time plus additional paid time off.
- Financial support toward health insurance, internet, and mobile phone expenses.
- Stock options, providing employees with an opportunity to participate in the company's growth.
- Access to a learning and development platform.
- Opportunity to work with a diverse, multidisciplinary, and multicultural team distributed across Latin America.
- Dynamic startup environment characterized by agility, innovation, and rapid expansion.
- Access to modern tools and technology.
- Opportunities for professional growth and career development.
- Opportunity to contribute to a high-impact payments platform serving enterprise customers across international markets.
