Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Firmware Engineer to develop and enable firmware solutions for next-generation server platforms. In this role, you will work closely with hardware, platform, and software teams to design, develop, integrate, and debug firmware and low-level software components. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in firmware development, solid system-level knowledge, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges across embedded and server environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain firmware drivers and low-level software components for server platforms.
• Develop and integrate firmware features to support platform and customer requirements.
• Debug and resolve firmware, hardware, and system-level issues across the software stack.
• Collaborate with hardware, BIOS/BMC, platform, and software teams during product development and validation.
• Support system bring-up, integration, validation, and issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle.
• Analyze system behavior, identify root causes, and implement robust solutions.
• Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of firmware development practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.

• 5+ years of experience in firmware, embedded software, or system software development.
• Experience in firmware and device driver development.
• Strong C programming skills.
• Solid understanding of system-level architecture and hardware-software interactions.
• Experience with embedded software development and operating system concepts.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing firmware in bare-metal and/or RTOS environments.
• Familiarity with Zephyr, Linux, or other embedded operating systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of server architecture and server platform technologies.
• Experience with server management technologies (e.g., BMC, Redfish, IPMI) is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
• Good communication and technical documentation skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of driving tasks independently in a fast-paced development environment.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on firmware engineer with strong low-level software expertise, solid system knowledge, and an interest in server technologies. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across firmware, embedded software, and platform-level solutions to deliver reliable and scalable server products.
