Senior Security Engineer

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls and countermeasures
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and best practices
• Collaborate with the SecOps team and other departments to ensure security is integrated into processes and systems
• Drive the adoption of security tools, processes, and automation across the organization
• Develop and maintain the organization's security policies and procedures
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing
• Lead incident response and investigation efforts in case of security breaches or incidents
• Ensure the organization's security practices and systems are compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards
• Develop and maintain security-related documentation and knowledge-base articles
• Mentor and guide junior SecOps engineers in their professional development
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the SecOps team's processes and tools
• Stay current with emerging security technologies and recommend their adoption when appropriate

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security engineering, cloud infrastructure, or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of security principles and industry best practices
• Proven experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption
• Experience with scripting languages and development frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
• In-depth knowledge of security regulations and industry standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in leading and mentoring security engineering teams
