Assistant Residential Manager

The Assistant Residential Manager supports the Village Homes leadership team in the day-to-day management and operations of a portfolio of luxury private residences, ensuring an exceptional homeowner and guest experience through personalized service, proactive property oversight, and flawless operational execution. Serving as the primary liaison between homeowners, guests, resort departments, and service partners, this role ensures each residence is impeccably maintained, expertly managed, and consistently reflects the brand's luxury standards. The Assistant Residential Manager provides hands-on operational leadership while cultivating strong homeowner relationships and delivering the elevated service synonymous with a world-class luxury resort.

Your Leadership

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned residences, ensuring exceptional presentation, functionality, and readiness at all times
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for homeowners regarding all property-related matters
  • Coordinate homeowner arrivals, departures, and special requests to ensure a seamless ownership experience
  • Anticipate homeowner needs and implement tailored solutions that exceed expectations
  • Conduct regular homeowner outreach and property reviews to ensure satisfaction and identify enhancement opportunities
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all homeowner interactions.
  • Conduct routine inspections of residences, documenting findings, and implementing corrective action where necessary
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and oversee repairs, renovations, and capital improvement projects.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships to ensure work is completed according to scope, budget, timeline, and luxury service standards
  • Monitor property condition and provide recommendations to preserve and enhance property value.
  • Ensure all residences are maintained in accordance with brand standards, safety requirements, and best operational practices
  • Coordinate all pre-arrival and departure preparations for homeowners and rental guests
  • Perform detailed post-departure inspections to ensure residences are restored to brand standards
  • Verify residences are fully prepared, stocked, and inspection-ready prior to arrival
  • Partner closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, Recreation, Security, and Food & Beverage teams to deliver seamless service experiences
  • Resolve guest and homeowner concerns promptly, professionally, and effectively
  • Maintain oversight of online inventory, reservations systems, and property presentation platforms, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Review homeowner statements, reserve accounts, and property-related expenditures to ensure accuracy and transparency
  • Review and approve invoices, work orders, purchase requests, and service contracts within established authority levels
  • Monitor operating expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies while protecting service standards
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, reserve planning, and capital expenditure forecasting
  • Provide homeowners with detailed updates regarding maintenance projects, expenditures, and property performance
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures
  • Ensure furnishings, fixtures, amenities, and owner inventory meet presentation standards at all times
  • Promote a culture of excellence and attention to detail throughout all residential operations
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for Residential Services, Housekeeping, and associated operational teams
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance development initiatives
  • Promote accountability, engagement, and a culture of luxury service excellence
  • Perform other duties as required

About You

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in luxury hospitality, residential management, property management, or resort operations
  • Experience working within a luxury hotel, private club, branded residence, or ultra-luxury resort environment strongly preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong understanding of luxury hospitality and residential property management operations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong financial acumen, budgeting, and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, property management systems, and hospitality technology platforms
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when dealing with high-net-worth homeowners and guests
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when business needs require

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit at a desk for up to five (5) hours per day
  • Walking and standing are required, and length of time may vary
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and subordinates; use of these senses will occur on a constant basis
  • Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
