Job Description

As a Configuration & Logistics Engineer, you translate the technical product documentation from our customers into an optimally configured internal production process. You ensure that our digital product structures (M-BOMs) seamlessly align with the reality on the shop floor. This makes you a key figure for a smooth production process, minimal stocks, and short lead times.

Your responsibilities also include:

• Translating customer E-BOMs into production-oriented M-BOMs in the PLM system (Windchill);
• Setting up and maintaining article data, bill of materials, and parameters in the ERP system;
• Responsible for correct configuration management of product data and changes;
• Identifying and implementing changes in consultation with Project and Product Management;
• Visualizing the impact on inventory, work in progress, and production;
• Collaborating with engineering, supply chain, and production to ensure data quality;
• Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Requirements

• Intermediate vocational education (MBO+) / higher professional education (HBO) level, preferably in a technical or logistics field;
• Experience with ERP systems and product structures (such as BOMs and article data);
• Affinity with PLM systems (such as Windchill) is a plus;
• You work accurately, in a structured manner, and are data-driven;
• You have an affinity with technical products and production environments;
• Strong in analyzing, collaborating, and improving;
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
