Role Description

We are seeking a highly analytical, execution-oriented Finance & Business Operations professional to support and scale critical financial and business operations across AIVista.

This role will work closely with our Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer and partner with leaders across the organization to support financial planning, analysis, reporting, and operational execution.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with the ability to operate across the business. This person should be comfortable working with financial data, building and maintaining models and reporting, identifying trends and insights, creating structure in an evolving environment, and translating analysis into actionable business decisions.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to go beyond traditional financial analysis and play a meaningful role in helping build and scale the operating foundation of a growing company.

Core Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Analysis

- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial planning.

- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support business decisions.

- Analyze actual performance against budgets and forecasts and identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.

- Prepare financial reporting and analysis for executive leadership and Board-level discussions.

- Partner with business leaders to understand financial drivers, resource needs, and operating priorities.

- Support headcount and workforce planning from a financial and business perspective.

- Develop reporting and analysis that provides leadership with clear visibility into business performance.

2. Finance Operations

- Maintain key financial controls, approval records, audit documentation, and operating trackers.

- Coordinate insurance, tax, audit, and other recurring financial and corporate requirements.

- Support internal and external audit readiness and ensure required documentation is accurate and complete.

- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial processes, deadlines, dependencies, and deliverables remain on track.

- Identify opportunities to strengthen financial processes, controls, reporting, and operating efficiency.

- Maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and judgment when working with sensitive financial and company information.

3. Business Operations

- Partner with the CFO, CAO, and other leaders on high-priority business and operational initiatives.

- Drive cross-functional programs from planning through execution, ensuring clear ownership, timelines, dependencies, and outcomes.

- Build operating mechanisms, dashboards, trackers, and reporting that improve visibility and accountability.

- Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

- Help translate executive priorities into actionable plans and ensure initiatives continue moving forward.

- Create structure and scalable processes as the organization continues to grow.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, finance operations, business operations, strategic finance, or a related role.

- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.

- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and operational data and translate findings into clear business insights.

- Experience independently driving cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, dependencies, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong operational judgment and the ability to create structure in evolving or ambiguous environments.

- Exceptional discretion when handling confidential company and financial information.

- Ability to work effectively with executives, functional leaders, and cross-functional teams.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a startup, high-growth technology company, or global organization.

- Experience partnering directly with a CFO, CAO, COO, or other senior executives.

- Experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or a financial analyst role with exposure beyond traditional Finance.

- Experience supporting Board-level financial reporting or executive financial reviews.

- Experience with financial systems, reporting platforms, dashboards, and business intelligence tools.

- Experience building or improving financial and operational processes in a growing organization.

- Demonstrated ability to operate across Finance and broader business operations rather than within a single functional discipline.

The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $120,000–$170,000 USD. The salary for the successful applicant will depend on job-related factors such as education, training, work experience, business needs, and market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for variable compensation, including an annual target bonus and additional cash incentives, with combined earning potential of up to 50% of base salary.
