About the Team:

The Factory Test team is responsible for all hazardous testing in our Long Beach facilities. We use our breadth of experience and collaborative engineering approach to support everything from very large structural tests to precise valve actuation. To that end, we design, build, and operate all test assets in Long Beach from initial concept to test execution. If you enjoy working on a multi-disciplinary team with a broad mandate and want to put hands on hardware, then this is the team for you.

About the Role:

• Manage the ordering, receiving, storage, tracking, and distribution of department parts, products, materials, and supplies.
• Develop and maintain inventory procedures and processes to support accurate inventory records, material availability, and efficient department operations.
• Organize and store parts and materials in designated bins, drawers, racks, and other storage locations, ensuring physical inventory locations correspond with digital inventory records.
• Inspect incoming hardware and materials for visible damage, missing components, and discrepancies, and document or escalate issues as appropriate.
• Support assembly kitting, parts tracking, inventory transactions, and material preparation activities as needed.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area in accordance with established housekeeping and 6S practices.

About You:

• 4+ years of experience in logistics, inventory management, receiving inspection, material handling, or a related field.
• Experience managing inventory, tracking parts and materials, preparing kits, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Ability to identify inventory or material-handling issues, follow established procedures, and implement appropriate solutions within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to use inventory records, tracking systems, and established procedures to maintain accurate material locations and inventory information.
• Ability to safely lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, as required to perform essential job functions.
• Ability to perform job-related physical activities, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and working in areas with limited space, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice to Haves but Not Required:

• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar inventory, tracking, or planning software.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, testing, or other technical production environment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical components, aerospace test systems, or related hardware.
• At least 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a work environment.

Hiring Range:

$28—$42 USD
