About the role:

You'll build individual Android features end-to-end in Kotlin, working closely with product, design, and backend teams to ship reliable, user-facing functionality.

What you'll do:

- Work within a Kotlin/Jetpack Compose codebase, shipping through GitLab with automated release trains every 3 weeks

- Collaborate daily with designers, product managers, backend engineers, and QA to define and deliver features

- Operate inside a modern app architecture (MVI + Clean) with dependency injection and reactive data flows

What you'll own:

- Develop and implement individual features from scratch with high-quality, maintainable code

- Integrate RESTful APIs into the Android app using OkHttp

- Conduct code reviews, give feedback, and refactor code to uphold quality standards

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues surfaced by users or through testing

- Partner with QA to ensure proper test coverage and release quality

What makes you a strong fit:

- 4+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin

- Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Jetpack Compose

- Experience with modern app architecture (MVI + Clean principles) and dependency injection (Dagger)

- Solid experience integrating RESTful APIs (OkHttp) and working with coroutines and Kotlin Flow

- Practical experience writing Unit/Integration tests (Mockito, JUnit)

- Comfortable with Git-based workflows and structured release cycles (GitLab, release trains)
