ScaleOps is redefining autonomous cloud and AI infrastructure. We're on a mission to free DevOps and platform engineers from manual resource management so they can focus on innovation, not tuning resources. The results: maximized performance and a reduction of cloud costs by up to 80%.
As the category leader in Autonomous Cloud and AI Infrastructure Resource Management, we're trusted by leading enterprises including Adobe, Wiz, Epic Games, Northwestern Mutual, Coinbase, DocuSign, and Fortune 100 companies to autonomously manage their most critical production environments.
Backed by Insight Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and other leading VCs with over $210M in funding, ScaleOps is the leading player in a massive and growing market. We are building the autonomous infrastructure management platform that will power the next decade of enterprise compute.
We're hiring a hands-on VP of Operations to own daily operations, office management, business systems, and employee experience end to end. This is the person who makes sure every office runs well, every new hire has a great first day, every tool actually works, and every internal event comes off without a hitch - while building the playbooks that let all of that keep working as we double and triple in size.
What You'll Own
- Office & workplace management: Run the day-to-day of our offices (Tel Aviv HQ, Boston, and any new locations) - facilities, space planning, supplies, health & safety, work policy, and the relationships with landlords, cleaners, caterers, and building management.
- Business systems: Own the internal tools stack (Google Workspace, Slack, expense & procurement tools, equipment provisioning, workplace tech) - select, implement, and administer new systems as the company scales, and manage IT vendor and helpdesk relationships.
- Process ownership & cross-functional initiatives: Spot operational inefficiencies that cut across teams, design and roll out standardized processes (new-hire ramp, procurement requests, cross-department handoffs), and lead the cross-functional initiatives that keep GTM, R&D, and G&A in sync as headcount scales — partnering directly with functional leaders rather than owning their teams.
- Employee experience: Design and run onboarding and offboarding (equipment, desk setup, first-week experience), internal communications, and the full company events calendar - all-hands, offsites, team celebrations, and holiday events - for a multi-office workforce.
- Process & playbooks: Build the operational playbooks - new-hire onboarding, equipment procurement, travel & expense policy, office-opening checklist - needed as headcount doubles and triples.
- Cross-office consistency: Keep the employee experience and operational standards consistent across the US and Israel offices, navigating different local norms, holidays, and vendors.
- Special projects: Lead office moves and new-office openings, company offsites, and other one-off logistics-heavy initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in Workplace Operations, Office Management, People Operations, or general Operations, including experience leading a team
- Has personally run office management, business systems, or employee experience at a company that scaled from roughly 100 → 500+ employees - MUST
- Hands-on experience selecting and administering business/workplace tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, expense & procurement platforms) and managing IT/vendor relationships
- Track record designing onboarding, internal events, and employee-experience programs that scale, not just one-off logistics
- Strong vendor negotiation and budget management skills
- Excellent project management with a genuine "no task too small" mentality, balanced with the instinct to build repeatable systems rather than solve the same problem twice
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with shifting daily priorities
Strong pluses
- Experience managing multiple offices/geos, ideally including Israel or another international location
- Experience opening or building out a new office location outside of Israel from scratch
- Background partnering closely with People/HR and IT/Security teams
