Job Description

What you'll get to do in this role:

• Design and implement features end-to-end, from technical design through deployment and monitoring
• Write high-quality, well-tested, maintainable code and actively participate in code reviews
• Break down ambiguous problems into clear technical plans and execute independently
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Contribute to architectural decisions within your team's scope of ownership
• Debug and resolve complex production issues, including on-call rotation participation
• Mentor junior engineers (IC1/IC2) through pairing, code review, and design discussions
• Contribute to and champion engineering best practices (testing, documentation, CI/CD)
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives as an active contributor

Qualifications

What you must have to be successful in this role:

• 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience
• 1+ year of practical experience with AI/ML-powered features, agentic systems, or LLM-based tooling
• Strong proficiency in programming languages like Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python.
• Experience designing and building scalable backend services or full-stack applications
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals
• Experience with REST/API-driven development and integration patterns
• Track record of owning features from design to production
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in complex, distributed systems
• Exposure to AI-native development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot)
