Job Description

The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures for pediatric patients. This role ensures high-quality radiographs and compliance with radiation safety protocols, while providing compassionate care to patients and families. Technologists collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare providers to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Senior technologists may also assume leadership responsibilities in quality control, education, and daily operations oversight. Shriners Spokane is looking for a PRN Radiology Technologist to join the team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures including portable C-arm, Tomography, and DXA scans
• Ensure diagnostic image quality, accurate positioning, and appropriate use of radiation protection measures
• Assist with patient preparation, including communication of procedures in an age-appropriate manner
• Collaborate with Physicians and Radiologists to review images and clarifying imaging orders
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment in accordance with safety and maintenance guidelines
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in EMR and PACS systems

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification (ARRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree, Radiologic Technology or Radiologic Science (must be from accredited (JCERT) Radiologic Technology Program)

The pay range for this position is $27.88-$41.83/hourly


Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
