🧭 Job Overview:

Silverline Ventura is seeking a dynamic and experienced Export Logistics Head to oversee and manage the company’s global export logistics operations. This leadership role is critical to ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods, including 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, tires, and batteries, primarily from India and Dubai to international markets.

Business Scale:

Export Volume – 30 to 60 containers per month (India/Dubai operations)

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement a comprehensive export logistics strategy aligned with business goals.
• Analyze international market trends to identify opportunities and enhance global logistics capabilities.

2. Team Management

• Lead and mentor a high-performing logistics team.
• Define KPIs, assign responsibilities, and conduct regular performance evaluations.

3. Export Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to global trade laws and export compliance regulations.
• Oversee all documentation, licensing, and certification requirements.

4. Supplier & Vendor Management

• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers.
• Negotiate competitive freight rates and optimize service quality.

5. Cost & Efficiency Management

• Minimize logistics costs while maintaining service excellence.
• Implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

6. Operational Excellence

• Oversee pre- and post-shipment documentation and coordination.
• Manage vessel planning, onboarding, scheduling, and tracking.

7. Risk Mitigation

• Identify risks across the supply chain and formulate mitigation strategies.
• Manage issues like cargo delays, damage, and compliance breaches.

8. Government Incentives & Compliance

• Handle incentive claims, GST compliance, and refunds related to exports.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness in statutory claims and filings.

9. Reporting & KPIs

• Define and monitor operational KPIs for export logistics.
• Present regular performance reports to senior management.

📚 Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 12–15 years of experience in international logistics/export operations, including minimum 3 years in leadership.
• Expertise in: Ocean, air, and land freight operations Vessel planning and onboarding Government incentive claims and GST export compliance Pre- and post-shipment documentation Experience with brands like Piaggio, Hero Motorcycles, Ceat Tyres will be added advantage
• Strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in working with cross-cultural teams and global stakeholders.
