Salary: $65,000 per year

Job Summary: The Area Manger/Robotics Specialist will be responsible for performing successful operations related duties under the direct supervision of the Regional Manager. The Area Manager is responsible for developing, overseeing, monitor development of progression performance over a specified region, assuring compliance with company standards; ensuring excellent internal and external communication skills to maintain superior support and services. Responsibilities also include working with all levels within a fast-paced and deadline-driven organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high level of customer service and account management to stores in an assigned district, taking all action necessary to ensure completion of required work, according to contract scope, company policy and direction of District Manager
  • Ensures that quality work is being performed at all levels in all stores within their scope
  • Understands how to operate autonomous scrubbers and can train and create routes as necessary
  • Ensures employees are operating autonomous scrubbers according to specifications given
  • Reviews autonomous scrubber output reports daily and works with teams to meet run time goals
  • Effectively manage and train work crews assigned to various locations
  • Ensure timely completion of work orders and projects
  • Take all actions necessary to keep proper staffing, including but not limited to advertising, training, budgeting, scheduling
  • Moves equipment and helps complete projects as needed
  • Coordinates and tracks work flow, schedules, and projects
  • Maintain labor budget, quality standards, and customer quality standards for account retention
  • Regularly inspect assigned accounts and submits monthly site visit reports
  • Ensure that all needed supplies and necessary equipment are available and in working condition for assigned store locations
  • Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures, and proper usage of equipment and materials
  • Assist when necessary in the completion of daily cleaning duties; fill in as necessary when short handed
  • May require to work more than 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. Position requires not only normal working hours, but also being on call anytime if a problem arises
  • Obtains Employee ID Number prior to a new employee starting. Oversee the completion and timely submission of all new hire employee paperwork (and compliance required documents), including an accurate I9 form
  • Knowledgeable in the Company’s policies. Ensures compliance and adherence to state and federal laws, and company policies
  • Ensures consistent application of Company’s polices
  • Manages progressive discipline/termination of all employees under his/her supervision
  • Reports to HR promptly all terminations of employment and provide accurate reasons for those
  • Assists HR with investigations, including but not limited to serious investigations regarding harassment, discrimination and retaliation complaints; safety related complaints or issues; general liability and worker’s compensations claims
  • Performs other duties as assigned and as dictated by the area’s evolving needs and priorities
  • Drives a culture of constant improvement, identifying and implementing changes to increase productivity and efficiency of service.
  • Enforces Sizemore’s policies and procedures as needed.
  • Additional duties assigned, as necessary.

  • Professional written and oral communication

  • Must understand how to motivate and provide supportive leadership (this would include practicing a “coaching” style of management that utilizes collaborative and team directed approaches to managing employees)
  • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fact paced work environment
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • Skills in database management and record keeping
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with operations challenges
  • High degree of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize among competing responsibilities
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel and ability to quickly become proficient in other required software
  • Ability to work nights, early morning or weekend hours and to travel locations to meet with employees and customers
  • A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
  • Demonstrate a commitment to service and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor.
  • Possess patience, tact, enthusiasm as well as diplomacy when dealing with any person no matter the circumstances.
  • Possess initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in potentially stressful and time sensitive situations.

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, read/comprehend detailed instructions and process information with accuracy and clarity.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and written.

Working Conditions:

  • Majority of work will be performed in a climate-controlled building.
  • Prolonged sitting at a desk
  • Minimal travel to customer locations
