Depositary Operations Specialist, Senior Associate

We are looking for a Depositary Operations Specialist reporting directly to the Depositary Services Manager. You will act as a subject matter expert for depositary operations and support high-quality, timely service delivery, process improvement, training and control activities.

What you will be responsible for

• As a Depositary Operations Specialist, you will
• Act as a subject matter expert for core depositary processes and provide practical guidance to processing teams.
• Review key fund components and operational deliverables, complete reviewer checklists and provide final quality sign-off where authorised.
• Lead reviews of process, procedure and control documentation, coordinate corrective action and support a strong risk and quality culture.
• Contribute to the development, testing and implementation of new solutions, operating-model changes and business transitions.
• Deliver training and knowledge-sharing, support audit preparation and drive continuous improvement, standardisation and automation.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in accounting, business, finance or a related field is preferred.
• At least two years of experience in depositary services or a closely related operational-control environment.
• Working knowledge of relevant fund regulations, including UCITS, AIFMD and applicable local requirements.
• Advanced capability with standard office productivity, spreadsheet and data-analysis tools.
• Fluent English; experience delivering training or supporting transformation, migration, testing or implementation is preferred.

Additional requirements

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage operational and project deadlines are required.

The position works across operational teams, management and relevant support functions.

Work Requirement

• Poland: Gdansk or Krakow.
• Individual-contributor role with no direct reports.
• Presence in the office as per the required model currently 3 days per week at the office

Minimum Salary:​

zł87 000 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
