Agency Support Specialist

Compensation: $70,000 base salary + Equity

Steadily is hiring an Agency Support Specialist to join our growing Client Experience team in the Kansas City metro area. In this role, you will deliver fast, high volume support, guiding agents through portal quoting, clarifying appetite, navigating underwriting, and managing policy endorsements. We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing role.

As an Agency Support Specialist, you will:

- Provide direct support for independent agencies appointed with Steadily; answering questions about our appetite, assistance with quoting in our agent portal, triaging underwriting requests, and processing endorsements and billing requests on the agents’ behalf.

- Respond to high volume of inbound calls, chats, and email requests from agents regarding quotes and active policies.

- Partner with Agency Success Managers to support the growth and success of our independent agency channel; surfacing concerns and escalating feedback from agency partners.

- Partner with Underwriting to help mitigate risk by communicating underwriting actions to our agents and supporting agents in the subsequent resolution of risk.

- Perform any other clerical or administrative tasks related to agency support, as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

- Experience in a customer-focused role with excellent communication skills

- Quick to learn new tools and systems; comfortable navigating multiple platforms

- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently until fully resolved

- Ability to manage a large workload and thrive under pressure

Preferred (not required):

- 1+ years in a customer service or contact center role
